Lakers had a better outing against the Clippers than expected, well the box score showed they did, if you watched the game, they were down by +30 at times and had really no answers for the Clippers offense and overall talent. Memphis are still battling in the West like the Mavs and Jazz etc but remain the most likely team to drop out of the playoffs if the Kings or Pelicans get their act together. Memphis should get the job done with Gasol and Conley to take over.
Best Bet: Memphis -4.5 or La Lakers+16.5. Both @1.40

Boston are rolling again with a payback win against the Pistons yesterday. They had an even contribution from all players but did struggle from the arc. That’s a spot where the Knicks excel and could expose the Celtics. New York have had a couple of tough games against the Cavs and Hawks and wont get any easier for them come tonight at the TD Garden.

How stiff are Denver? They get to play the Spurs a day after they lost on Christmas Day and have to back it up the next night against the Thunder who are also a bit fired up from their home loss. Not much more to add here…. Thunder win

Portland got some massive performances from Crabbe and Plumlee with Lillard still doubtful for tonight. The Kings are coming off a great win away at Indiana and are well rested. Home team to win.
