The 4-0 Pacers led the Celtics by as many as 17 points on Tuesday. But an awful run in the 4th quarter sent the Pacers to a 116-111 loss. The Pacers sent Boston to the foul line 37 times, as opposed to just 16 for Indiana. Just two nights earlier in a 108-107 defeat of the Celtics, Boston shot 24 free throws.

The Pacers come into tonight ranked 24th in the NBA with 19.8 opponent free-throw attempts per game, but have excelled elsewhere also, ranking 9th in the league with 17.0 opponent turnovers per game, and 4th in opponent two-point field-goal percentage at 48.0%. The sample size is small, but continue trends from last season ago where the Pacers ranked No. 13 in turnovers created.

K-Love is out again for the Cavs after aggravating a calf injury in a 118-94 rout of Philadelphia on Sunday and will be re-evaluated in three to four weeks.

A balanced effort helped the Bulls avoid the franchise’s first 0-4 start since 2007-08 with Tuesday’s 115-107 road win against the Wizards.

Chicago made the best of Washington’s 1-for-11 effort from 3-point range in the 2nd quarter to take the lead, and maintained control as the Wizards continued to miss the mark from three-point range, finishing 10-for-37 (27.0%).

Fast ball movement steered Chicago to 41.7% (15-for-36) from behind the arc. All but one of Chicago’s seven double-figure scorers drilled at least two three-pointers.

Tobias Harris has upped his output in each game this season.

He carvred out 26 points and 11 rebounds in the Sixers win against the Raptors, with his rebound tally likely to lift in 2020/21 with Al Horford moving on.

Clearing the 24.5 PR line in his last 2 games, Tobias appears set for tonight against the undefeated Magic.

In the bubble Harris had 23 points and 15 rebounds against the Magic, while the game prior he had 24 points and 11 rebounds.

The points and rebound line in this are too short at 17.5 and 6.5, and another 20/10 game is a show. Harris is paying $2.40 to score 20+ and $3.60 for 10+ rebounds.

Orlando have won their first four games for the first time in franchise history after beating the host Thunder 118-107 on Tuesday to improve to 4-0.

The 76ers, meanwhile, will be looking for their 2nd-straight victory.

Philadelphia moved to 3-1 with a 100-93 win over the visiting Raptors on Tuesday. Embiid overcame an injury scare to his right leg in the third quarter to finish with 29 points and 16 rebounds.

Embiid has reached at least 25 points and 10 rebounds in the three games he has played to become the first 76ers player to do so since Charles Barkley way back in 1986-87.

Trends are against the 76ers and they’ll likely need another stellar effort from Tobias Harris, who had 26 points and 11 rebounds against the Raptors.

Houston’s new acquisition John Wall was eagerly anticipating his first regular season game in two years before COVID-19 protocols put his Rockets debut on pause.

The Rockets traveled with just nine players for road games at Portland and Denver and will welcome back three of the six players who were in quarantine: DeMarcus Cousins, Eric Gordon and Wall.

The Kings have enjoyed a surprising 3-1 start to the season, including their 125-115 win over Denver on Tuesday.

The Knicks go for their 3rd-straight win after a Julius Randle triple-double, helped them to a 95-86 win over Cleveland Tuesday night and have two wins in four games.

Toronto have lost their first three games after losing to the 76ers 100-93 on Tuesday despite leading by 14 points in the second half. Toronto has not started a season so poorly since an 0-9 start in 2005-06.

The Raptors have won eight straight against the Knicks, and things must surely correct shortly.

After seven seasons with the Thunder, Steven Adams plays his first game there as a visitor tonight. Adams is averaging 8.3 ppg and 8.5 rpg through four games with New Orleans, and had 11 points and 8 boards in Tuesday’s 111-86 loss at Phoenix, where the Pelicans shot just 12.5 percent (3 of 24) from 3-point range.

Oklahoma City was without two starters in Tuesday’s 118-107 loss to Orlando — Hill and Al Horford.

Horford should be back Thursday after missing the game against the Magic for rest on the second of a back-to-back. Hill sat out due to neck spasms.

The Jazz look for their first home win of the season after escaping from Oklahoma City with a 110-109 win on Monday. This is the first night of a home back-to-back set for the Jazz, who host the Clippers on New Year’s Day before a 7-game road trip.

The Suns’ star-studded backcourt CP3 and Devin Booker got a lot of assistance against the Pelicans on Tuesday. Jae Crowder had 21 points with five 3-pointers, Cameron Johnson added 18 points, and DeAndre Ayton contributed 13 points and 12 rebounds in the 111-86 win.
