Tonight’s NBA Tips and Parlays 3/12

NBA betting tips basketball

5 NBA games in the States today, and one in Mexico.

The Kings and the Celtics head to Mexico City Arena, with coach Karl, Rondo and Boogie finally out of the States, and in Mexico where they can hopefully resolve their differences over a few shots of tequila.

But lets review the rest of tonight’s NBA betting tips…

This post is a little old, see the latest NBA betting tips and predictions.

Today’s BEST NBA Picks and Parlays

MULTI BET OF THE DAY!

Oklahoma WIN @ 1.76.

Toronto WIN @ 1.19.

Spurs/Grizzlies Over 182.5 points.

Oklahoma City at Miami

Denver at Toronto

7 Toronto 99.9 95.8 +4.1
26 Denver 96.2 102.8 -6.6

I feel like I write about Denver every day and there isn’t much to say. They are taking on a Toronto team at their home base who have won 5 out of the last 6. I suppose its good to see Faried get some meaningful moments against the Bulls but they will need more than a miracle to steal a win in Canada. The Raptors are clicking on all cylinders scoring 39 points in the final quarter last game against the Hawks. They were only 32 at half time! …now that is a miracle.

The Best Bet : Toronto WIN @ 1.19.

Feeling Lucky : First Basket/Winner – Kyle Lowry/Toronto @ 7.00

Orlando at Utah

11 Orlando 101.6 99.6 +2
10 Utah 96 94 +2

The Jazz are coming off a close loss to the all conquering Warriors and have a bigger issue with Centre Rudy Gobert out indefinitely with a MCL sprain. This only gives the Magic more confidence in a victory in Salt Lake City with their current win streak at 4. This will be the big difference maker as Orlando have enough bigs to trouble the Jazz in the paint. Utah will have to get their shooting game on while Favors will need a super human effort to stop the interior ball. Too close to call.

The Best Bet : Coin Flip

Feeling Lucky : Orlando WIN @ 2.51

The Spurs are in the middle of a scoring slump, but that hasn’t stopped them winning 12 of the last 14. Their defense is another story, ranking 1st in the NBA at 88.8 ppg.

“It’s coming around. We continue to improve,” Duncan said. “It’s what we want to do. A great effort all around. Pop is still on us about the mistakes we made, but you look up at the scoreboard and they score 70 in a night.”

Marc Gasol finally broke out this year, scoring 38 points to go along with 18 rebounds. in a 113-104 win over the Hornets on Tuesday.

“I imposed a little bit my will. … Instead of trying to get somebody else going or trying to read and see what was in front of me, I just went ahead and tried to be a little more aggressive.” said Gasol.

The Grizzlies have won 5 of the last 6 at home, and both teams are flying with 8 wins out of the last 10. With both teams trying to be more aggressive on offense, the O/U 182.5 looks good.

The Best Bet : Over 182.5 points.

Feeling Lucky : Spurs WIN @1.69.

Indiana at Portland

3 Indiana 101.9 95.3 +6.6
19 Portland 100.6 101.7 -1.1

The Blazers have won 4 of the last 5 in this match-up, but back then the Blazers roster looked a whole lot more star studded, and the Pacers were without Paul George. George had 31 and 10 in a win over the Clippers last out, while averaging 35.8ppg in the 4 games prior.

“This is definitely the best stretch I’ve had,” George said. “I really put a lot of work in this summer to be ready night in and night out.”

Life without Wesley Matthews and LeMarcus Aldrige is setting in, and a pretty average Blazers lineup will lose here without any doubt.

The Best Bet : Pacers WIN @1.69.

Feeling Lucky : Pacers -3 @1.91.

Denver at Chicago

RK TEAM OWN OPP DIFF
6 Boston 102 97.5 +4.5
22 Sacramento 105.3 108.5 -3.2

You could make a pretty good 80’s sitcom with the relationship between King coach George Karl and trouble makers DeMarcus Cousins and Rajon Rondo.

Cousins was rumored to be headed to Boston back in February after a long interest in the big guy, but were unable to pull off a trade. A 28.2ppg career high from Cousins must be somehow easing the tension in the locker room. Rondo will face his old team in King’s colours for the first time.

Basically, if Cousins plays they are a chance, if he doesn’t, it’s the Celtics.
This game will be played at the Mexico City Arena, so home advantage will play no part here.

The Best Bet : Under 215 points.

Feeling Lucky : Karl, Boogie and Rondo to each swallow the worm, and resolve their differences.
