The Warriors embarrassed the Rockets in Game 3 with a 41 point thumping. Not exactly the margin we were expecting, but it was the outcome.

Curry found his shot back at the confines of Oracle Arena, going off for 35 points after struggling over Games 1 and 2 averaging 17 points on 2 of 13 for 3-point range, with one sweet step back three over Harden setting the tone for the night.

Houston committed 20 turnovers leading to 28 points for the Warriors, and their carelessness with the ball was matched but their lack of defense. Houston coach Mike D’Antoni told reporters. “Played soft, actually. I mean, you can’t do that with these guys. These guys are good.”

Durant is averaging 33.3 points on 52.9% shooting in the series and is the rock that has held the Warriors steady while others have been looking for rhythm. Another 30+ points looks good tonight.

The Game 3 win was a statement by the Warriors that must have sapped a fair bit of confidence from the Rockets who look like going back to Toyota Center down 3-1 unless they pull their shit together. That means no more is-ball from Harden and moving the ball in the same manner that they did in Game 2.

Iguodala may be trobule by a knee contusion, with Looney stepping into his place if he doesn’t take the floor.

Take the Warriors -8.0 tonight and Durant to score 30+.
