Full schedule of 11 NBA games today. The Warriors came back last night, scoring 39 points in the last quarter to just get over the Clippers 124-117 to show just how much heart they have. Surely after that there is no doubt they are the favorites for the NBA Championship. They have just, as I type, come to level favorite with the Cavaliers at $3.75.

Philadelphia at Charlotte Hornets
Philadelphia 76ers (+11.0) | Charlotte Hornets (-11.0) |
RK | TEAM | OWN | OPP | DIFF |
30 | Philadelphia | 90.2 | 104.2 | -14 |
14 | Charlotte | 102 | 100.4 | +1.6 |
The Best Bet : Charlotte/Charlotte @1.38. Philly’s overall losing streak is at 22. It’d be a shock if they managed to win a half.
Brooklyn at Boston
RK | TEAM | OWN | OPP | DIFF |
28 | Brooklyn | 95.7 | 103.3 | -7.6 |
4 | Boston | 102.5 | 96.8 | +5.7 |
The Best Bet : Boston/Boston @1.48. The Celtics were gathering momentum with 3 impressive wins in a row,
before losing to Dallas at home (giving up an 18 point lead in the process). Brooklyn is just thankful that they have the 76ers in their division. Joe Johnson, keep gettin’ them cheques! ($24,894,863 this season)
Feeling Lucky : Boston by 6-10 @4.30.
Houston at Memphis
RK | TEAM | OWN | OPP | DIFF |
27 | Houston | 101.4 | 108.1 | -6.7 |
26 | Memphis | 95.8 | 102.2 | -6.4 |
The Best Bet : Houston +10.5 @1.42. Memphis rarely win big (margin of 14 vs Sacramento their biggest this year). Houston finally showed some heart with an overtime victory against Portland under new coach J.B. Bickerstaff.
Feeling Lucky : Houston are too inconsistent at this early stage, just sit back and be entertained by James Harden’s shot selection.
Detroit at Minnesota
RK | TEAM | OWN | OPP | DIFF |
18 | Detroit | 97.3 | 97.4 | -0.1 |
19 | Minnesota | 102.9 | 103.3 | -0.4 |
The Best Bet : Detroit WIN @1.87. The Pistons started the season like a house on fire but have since lost 4 out of the last 5. Andre Drummond is averaging 18.9 rebounds per game for the Pistons, 6 ahead of the next best. With Nikola Pekovic still sidelined, he may break the all time NBA rebounds record of 55.
Feeling Lucky : First Basket / Winner – Andre Drummond / Detroit. If the first shot is off from Detroit, count on the offensive put back.
San Antonio at New Orleans
RK | TEAM | OWN | OPP | DIFF |
2 | San Antonio | 102.1 | 91.3 | +10.8 |
29 | New Orleans | 100.3 | 109.9 | -9.6 |
The Best Bet : Spurs -8 @1.91. The Pelicans are pretty much as bad as it gets at 1-11. The season point difference between the two is above the 20.4, and this is good enough reason to go above the -8 line for the Spurs. Anthony Davis is averaging 22.7 ppg and 8.4 rpg, but is questionable with a shoulder.
Feeling Lucky : We will stick with the Best Bet.
New York at Oklahoma
New York (+7) | Oklahoma (-7) |
RK | TEAM | OWN | OPP | DIFF |
5 | Oklahoma | 110.8 | 105.5 | +5.3 |
16 | New York | 98.8 | 98.2 | +0.6 |
The Best Bet : Oklahoma WIN @1.31. The Thunder will be without Durant for one more game, but there record at home against the Knicks and Westbrook’s form lately will more than makeup for that.
Feeling Lucky : We trust Westbrook, but not enough for the -7 line.
Utah at Dallas
RK | TEAM | OWN | OPP | DIFF |
8 | Utah | 95.3 | 91.5 | +3.8 |
13 | Dallas | 101.3 | 99.7 | +1.6 |
The Best Bet : Dallas -2 @1.91. The Jazz are the second worst offensive team in the NBA, averaging 95.3 ahead of only the winless 76ers. At home the Mavs will be too good. Dallas are going for 6 straight at home.
Feeling Lucky : Dallas/Dallas @2.43.
Phoenix at Denver
RK | TEAM | OWN | OPP | DIFF |
7 | Phoenix | 105 | 100.5 | +4.5 |
22 | Denver | 99.7 | 103.1 | -3.4 |
The Suns are jumping on the Crystal ship and making a left at Albuquerque to the Pepsi Centre for some high altitude goodness against Denver. The Bledsoe/Knight backcourt is coming up trumps for Phoenix with playoffs in sights. However, the Nuggets play their home court like a fortress and don’t lay down easy. This will be a tough one to split.
The Best Bet : Phoenix to WIN @ 1.72 with a good recent record against the Nuggets
Feeling Lucky : Denver/Phoenix @ 5.60
LA Clippers at Portland
RK | TEAM | OWN | OPP | DIFF |
16 | LA Clippers | 106.2 | 106 | +0.2 |
21 | Portland | 100.6 | 103.3 | -2.7 |
Let’s take a moment of silence to reflect on the Clippers and Blake’s offense going missing in another thrilling encounter against the Warriors last night. Even with a 23-point head start, CP3 and the coaches’ pets couldn’t close the deal. The good news for them is they get to take out all the frustration on Portland 24 hours later. Although, the Clips haven’t travelled the best this season, they would surely want to move on quickly. Sorry Portland.
The Best Bet : Clippers to WIN @ 1.54
Feeling Lucky : The Best Bet is enough here.
Chicago at Golden State
RK | TEAM | OWN | OPP | DIFF |
12 | Chicago | 101.1 | 98.8 | +2.3 |
1 | Golden State | 114.9 | 100.2 | +14.7 |
The Warriors facing the Bulls back in Oakland could be another game of the season. Will the fatigue slow down to streaking Warriors? After being down by 23 and Curry having a slow start to notch up 40 points anyway, let’s keep riding the wave while we can – although, expect the Bulls to keep it tight.
The Best Bet : Chicago +14.5 @ 1.36.
Feeling Lucky : Warriors to WIN 1-10 @ 2.50
Toronto at LA Lakers
RK | TEAM | OWN | OPP | DIFF |
9 | Toronto | 101.6 | 98.2 | +3.5 |
24 | LA Lakers | 99.4 | 105.5 | -6.2 |
This is the once a year fixture the Raptors get a little nervous about as they face the LA Lakers at Staples. While the curtains slowly close on the Black Mamba’s career, there will no doubt be chants of “81” throughout the game or for every shot Kobe hurls up. Furthermore, being in Hollywood, will Drake get in on the high 5s? Either way, the claws will be out for a Raptors win.
The Best Bet : Toronto to WIN @ 1.35 to end the 3 game skid and bring balance to the roadtrip
Feeling Lucky : Toronto/Toronto @ 1.80 to lead a both halves with some Lowry brilliance.
