Tonight’s 7 Games Picks
Utah @ LA Clippers
Points +/- Rank
TEAM | OWN | OPP | DIFF |
LA | 114.0 | 106.0 | +8.0 |
Utah | 100.0 | 101.0 | -1.0 |
The Say
The Clippers have their first game at home against a Jazz team who just beat their fellow neighbours in the Lakers. We all saw in their first hit out against the Blazers that they are locked in and looking good, especially Blake Griffin who owes the organisation for the loss time last season.
The Jazz are going too hard to judge and pick with confidence until Haywood returns and wont have enough fire power to push the Clips.
Best Bet: LA Clippers WIN @1.27
Feeling Lucky: LA Clippers -8.0 @1.95
Golden State @ Phoenix
Points +/- Rank
TEAM | OWN | OPP | DIFF |
Golden State | 111.0 | 121.5 | -10.5 |
Phoenix | 102 | 113 | -11.0 |
The Say
These two teams can get hot from the arc and with no defense coming out of both camps, expect a high scoring contest.
The Warriors will be better since notching their win but it didn’t come easy against AD and the Pelicans. However, tonight may be the night we see them hit top gear in a solid double figure win.
Best Bet: Golden State -7.5 @1.47
Feeling Lucky: Golden State -11.5 @1.92
San Antonio @ Miami
Points +/- Rank
TEAM | OWN | OPP | DIFF |
San Antonio | 109.7 | 91.0 | +18.7 |
Miami | 99.5 | 96.5 | +3.0 |
The Say
San Antonio are going for their 4th win already in the season and rested Parker and Ginobili last night in an easy saulute against the Pelicans. Even though this is the second leg of a back to back, the Spurs had the game won just after half time.
Miami have had their rest and will need every bit of energy and luck to get close tonight. They got their only win this season against the Magic who are 0-3 which doesn’t say much. With the Spurs in a good position, we hope Coach Popovich doesn’t play the scheduled loss card.
Best Bet: San Antonio WIN @1.35
Feeling Lucky: San Antonio -6.5 @1.90
Milwaukee @ Detroit
Points +/- Rank
TEAM | OWN | OPP | DIFF |
Milwaukee | 103.0 | 107.5 | -4.5 |
Detroit | 99.5 | 95.5 | +4.0 |
The Say
The Bucks were pushed last night by the Nets without Lopez which has us a little worried on how ready the team is, especially after their almost no show against the Hornets in opening night. We know its way too soon to be writing sides off but the early form has us a little shaky, especially with all the points they are leaking.
The Pistons got the rest and are a much better side at home. Should be another win for Detroit Basketball.
Best Bet: Detroit WIN @1.28
Feeling Lucky: Detroit 1-10 @2.50
LA Lakers @ Oklahoma
Points +/- Rank
TEAM | OWN | OPP | DIFF |
LA Lakers | 104.5 | 105.0 | -0.5 |
Oklahoma City | 108.0 | 103.5 | +4.5 |
The Say
The post-KD era as started without a hitch for OKC, and hot damn, get on Russell Westbrook for the MVP @$3.80 while you still can.
Last time out against the Suns Westbrook produced 51 points, 13 rebounds and 10 assists. He will likely be the the be-all and end-all for the Thunder most nights, with tonight being in that same vein.
The Lakers are young, energetic and are spreading the scoring well, but with Ingram likely out with injury, OKC will make it 3-0 tonight.
Best Bet: Oklahoma City WIN @1.27
Feeling Lucky: Russell Westbrook 35+ Pts/Oklahoma City To Win @2.60 – He’s a bad, bad man.
Washington @ Memphis
Points +/- Rank
TEAM | OWN | OPP | DIFF |
Memphis | 103.0 | 104.5 | -1.5 |
Washington | 99.0 | 114.0 | -15.0 |
The Say
The Grizzlies were facing an embarrassing night against the Knicks, before fighting back in the 3rd to get within a couple of baskets, before falling flat again. They’ll be tired tonight when facing the Wizards back at the FedEx Form, and those old, heavy worn legs do best with a day or two of rest. Beal and Wall will just be too quick.
Best Bet: Wizards WIN @1.87
Feeling Lucky: John Wall 25+ Pts/Washington To Win @4.20
Dallas @ Houston
Points +/- Rank
TEAM | OWN | OPP | DIFF |
Dallas | 109.5 | 118.0 | -8.5 |
Houston | 110.0 | 109.0 | =+1.0 |
The Say
A couple of days back the Rockets took the win in Dallas, and this time around at home it shouldn’t be any different. Harrison Barnes is holding down the fort until Dirk arrives, which he may do so tonight.
It won’t be enough though, and Houston will take the second meeting in this series, with their offense just a little too much for Cuban’s boys.
Best Bet: Rockets WIN @1.42
Feeling Lucky: Rockets 1-10 @2.37
