Tonight’s 5 NBA Tips and Previews
New York @ Washington
Points +/- Rank
TEAM | OWN | OPP | DIFF |
New York | 101.4 | 106.1 | -4.7 |
Washington | 100.1 | 104.6 | -4.5 |
The Say
The Wizards are just about at rock bottom with a loss to the 76ers which puts them equal last in the East with only 2 wins for the season. Bradley Beal is on the sidelines with a hamstring concern while John Wall has been held out of B2Bs and has a minute restriction.
The Knicks are one game away from reaching the .500 mark and a win in Washington on a B2B could be what the doctor ordered. The Wizards are a mess at the moment and could be in sights for Porzingis who is coming off a career night.
Best Bet: Go the Feeling Lucky Upset
Feeling Lucky: New York WIN @2.02
Milwaukee @ Miami
Points +/- Rank
TEAM | OWN | OPP | DIFF |
Milwaukee | 103.5 | 102.5 | +1.0 |
Miami | 94.4 | 97.5 | -3.1 |
The Say
Similar to the Wizards v Knicks game, the Bucks have an opportunity to make up for last night’s loss with a win on the road in Miami. Milwaukee scored 65 points in the second half to just come short to Atlanta.
The advantage for the Heat is that their opponent is coming off a B2B, although, they have their own issues with injuries (Winslow & Dragic expected to miss) and they are on a 6 game slide.
Best Bet: Nope.
Feeling Lucky: Miami -1.0 @1.91
Portland @ Houston
Points +/- Rank
TEAM | OWN | OPP | DIFF |
Portland | 107 | 111.3 | -4.3 |
Houston | 107.4 | 104.8 | +2.6 |
The Say
Houston put in a 13 point 4th quarter to let the Thunder back in a steal the win. James Harden was well under his points production which limited the Rockets’ offense with Ryan Anderson being the team top scorer with 14 points.
The Blazers got smashed in their last game by the Bulls in the first quarter and couldn’t recover. Its been documented their lack of rebounding is an issue with three Bulls players getting double figure boards. Lillard and McCollum are having good years but cant seem to capture the brilliance of last season just yet.
Houston will be playing only their 4th game at home where they are 2-1 this season. The Rockets to bounce back from last nights loss.
Best Bet: Under 234.5 @1.20
Feeling Lucky: Houston 1-10 @2.40
Philadelphia @ Minnesota
Points +/- Rank
TEAM | OWN | OPP | DIFF |
Philadelphia | 96.8 | 108.3 | -11.5 |
Minnesota | 107.9 | 106.1 | +1.8 |
The Say
The 76ers arrive in Minnestoa on the second of a back-to-back after a surprise 109-102 win over Washington in Philly.
Embiid should return for the 76ers, and while we aren’t willing to offload the hard-earned on a H2H here, the total point overs look good, with two below par defensive units.
Best Bet: Minnesota WIN @1.13
Feeling Lucky: Over 214.0 @1.91
Chicago @ Utah
Points +/- Rank
TEAM | OWN | OPP | DIFF |
Chicago | 106.8 | 99.6 | +7.2 |
Utah | 97.5 | 93.8 | +3.7 |
The Say
Loving the Bulls right now, and it’s fair to say they’ve been stuffing our pockets lately.
Jimmy Buckets is flying with 24.5 ppg, followed by league vet D-Wade with 17.2 ppg, however up against one of the leagues best defensive teams allowing only 93.8 ppg, the Bulls may find the scoreboard a little harder to tick over.
This one should be a low scoring scrappy affair, with the Bulls scraping through, but not by much.
Best Bet: Chicago +4.0 @1.91
Feeling Lucky: Chicago 1-10 @3.00
