There’s not a lot here that suggest anything other than an Atlanta win. Afflalo (13.9 ppg, 3.9 rpg) was the lone shining light for the Knicks last time out, hitting 7 of 8 from long range on his way to 38 points in a 111-97 win over Atlanta at MSG. They needed it, because nobody else scored over 19, and Carmelo scored only 11.
But we don’t expect the same from Afflalo tonight, and we don’t expect a whole lot from the Knicks on the road having lost their last 9 of 11.
Atlanta will win here, and continue the battle for 2nd in the East.

OK, so Derrick Rose is out again I take it? Another injury scare has sent him for an MRI on his knee, after sitting the last 3 games. The days of worrying if Rose is in the lineup at this point is a bit of a waste of time. He is not the player that he was, and his presence on the court no longer decides games.

Sacramento all were aboard the Boogie train last night as they overcame a Durant-less Thunder. Rondo gets to stick it to Carlisle one more time in front of Mark Cuban and a Dallas crowd that will be ringing the boos.
