The Heat are back on the road again after their disappointing loss to the Bucks at home last night. Their offense is 3rd last in the East which shows they are struggling to post a winnable score. They are terrible on the road and if the Wizards didn’t have their own concerns with injuries, they would be a shoe in. Too close to decide.

The Jazz can’t seem to keep everyone on the court at one time with Favors still expected to be out for tonight’s game. Melo returned for the Knicks win against the 76ers but still looks to be under the weather. The Knicks are 12-8 at home and will use that to their advantage.

The Raptors have won 5 in a row and with a great home court record (12-6), they will be tough to beat in Canada. Boston however have a knack for staying in games. Since the start of December, they have only lost 3/12 games by more that 6 points, good pick for the line.

One of many things the Warriors do better than any other team is score. Averaging 114 points per game really means you either need to out shoot them or play the defense of your life. We saw first hand what happens when you lax on the D against the Cavs, so the Bulls will need Gasol and Gibson to step up on the rim protection. I suppose even if they did that, threes will be bombing.

Dwight Howard has finally found some of his old form after what was turning into another mid-season “it’s the coach or me” situation. Coming up against Andre Drummond, the league leader in rebounds with 15.5, who idolised him as a youngster, should be a nice match-up. Both teams are trading wins and losses, and a generous line for the Pistons to withstand looks nice.

Kobe watch: Coach Scott says Bryant “is a go” for this game, after recently passing Jerry West for second on Lakers all-time assist leader. Surprised Kobe hasn’t suggested they change the NBA logo yet.
